London & New York
We first started selling records back in 1976 at our West London store in the UK, on the doorstep of punk. Nearly fifty years later, we're still celebrating the most exciting new music and vinyl format. In addition to our UK stores, you can also visit us at our two US locations in New York: Rough Trade NYC and Rough Trade Below, both situated at Rockefeller Center in Manhattan.

Austin
When Waterloo Records opened its doors on April 1, 1982, Austin was not quite the same town that it is today. Simply put, Austin was a lot smaller.
From the outset, Waterloo's policies were a success. Customers could listen to any album in the store before buying. Not unprecedented in the history of music retail sales of course, but since the advent of shrink wrap, a virtually forgotten practice.
The logical extension of this listening policy was our attitude towards returns. Even after purchasing a record, taking it home and playing it, customers still had ten days in which to return it – for whatever reason they chose! Whether they accidentally bought a live album by mistake, forgot that they already had the record at home, or just didn't like it, no questions were asked and a full exchange was provided. As long as the product returned to us in the same condition it went out in, both customer and store enjoyed a symbiotic relationship – we provided the leeway and trusted they wouldn't abuse it.

LA, SF & Berkeley
Since 1990, Amoeba Music has welcomed independent music lovers of all kinds to our unique, vibrant stores in Berkeley, San Francisco and Hollywood. We stock every kind of music and movies -- from the top 40 to the best in underground rock and hip-hop, soul, electronica, new and classic jazz, world music, roots music and experimental music. We also have the biggest, most diverse and affordable selection of DVDs and vinyl LPs found anywhere. Since we're a trading post for new and used discs, our stock changes daily, and just about anything you're looking for can be found here. We're more than just a record store-- we're a 21st century music outlet, a website, a popular live performance venue, and together with our customers we're a meeting place for California's most colorful community of progressive and creative minds.

Miami
SWEAT RECORDS opened in 2005 to cater to Miami’s huge audience of music lovers, as well as visitors to our tropical metropolis. We carry Miami’s widest selection of new and reissued vinyl, as well as used LPs, turntables, accessories, enamel pins, local merch, zines, and more.
Today, Sweat Records is a local institution as well-known for its regular schedule of all ages in-store events as it is for being a world-renowned record store.

Toronto
Play De Record has served the Toronto music community since 1990. A classic vinyl record store and one stop shop for Music lovers and DJs coming to our city.
Play De Record is one of few vinyl shops in the city that can properly classify itself as a DJ store. The venerable record purveyor has long been a destination for the city's medley of DJs—from the turntablists to the producers—and, in its heyday, even had international legends as heavy as Nas, Raekwon, and drum & bass trailblazer Goldie digging through their crates.

Seattle
Founded by Bruce Pavitt and Jonathan Poneman in 1988, Sub Pop Records is a medium-sized independent record label based in Seattle, WA. With early releases by Nirvana, Mudhoney, Soundgarden, and TAD, the label is often associated with something called “the grunge movement.”
Beyond its historical significance, the label operates dedicated retail spaces, including a renowned store at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) and "Sub Pop on 7th" in Belltown, offering vinyl, apparel, and curated Pacific Northwest gifts.

FAQs
What makes EARPEACE the best concert earplugs for live music?
EARPEACE earplugs are industry-trusted and have been protecting peoples hearing at music events for over 15 years. Our filter technology delivers mastered attenuation, reducing volume evenly while preserving sound clarity. Made from soft, hypoallergenic silicone and designed for all-day comfort, EARPEACE lets you enjoy the full music experience safely and distortion-free.
Are MUSIC PRO and MUSIC earplugs different?
Yes. MUSIC PRO features our patented Contour™ Earplug design that molds to your ear canal for a secure, near-custom fit. It comes with one set of our PRO filters, built with our latest multi-layered technology to deliver more precise, balanced sound at a safer volume. Choose from 16dB, 20dB, or 24dB noise reduction to match your environment and listening needs. Also included are two size earplug sets - small & standard.
MUSIC Earplugs features our universal double-cone design and comes with two earplug sizes for a comfortable, secure fit. It also includes three precision filters (17 dB, 20 dB, and 26 dB) so you can choose the right level of protection for your environment.
How do music earplugs protect your hearing at loud events?
High-fidelity filters reduce harmful volume while maintaining the integrity of instruments and vocals. At concerts often exceeding 100 dB, they help prevent noise-induced hearing loss (e.g. tinnitus) and offer much safer listening levels.
Will these earplugs cause muffled sound or affect music quality?
Nope! Unlike foam earplugs that just block sound, EARPEACE filters allow crisp, clear tones, like turning down master volume. Audience chatter gets quieter while the music and detail stay vibrant.
Are they comfortable for hours-long wear?
Absolutely. Constructed from silicone, EARPEACE earplugs are soft, hypoallergenic, and designed for secure comfort. Our customers comment wearing them at festivals, concerts, and rehearsals all night with zero ear fatigue.
How often should I use EARPEACE earplugs to protect my hearing?
Whenever you’re in environments louder than comfortable or where sound levels exceed safe thresholds (such as concerts, festivals, riding a motorcycle or attending sporting events), wearing EARPEACE earplugs consistently can help reduce cumulative noise exposure and support long-term auditory health.
