FAQs

Why 3 Earplugs?

EARPEACE always includes an extra earplug and filter just in case you lose or drop one, then you still have a set.

Does MOTO PRO include various filter reduction levels?

Each MOTO PRO includes 1 PRO filter set of your choice: 24dB Max or 20dB High protection.
Based on your selection, your MOTO PRO will include 3 total PRO filters of that reduction level.

What is the difference between MOTO PRO & MOTO?

There are two major differences between MOTO & MOTO PRO:

1. The Earplugs.

MOTO features our original double-coned silicone earplug for a comfortable, natural fit.

MOTO PRO features our patented Contour Earplug™ design engineered to mold to the shape of your ear canal, creating a complete seal for a near-custom fit.

2.  The Filters.

MOTO includes three sets of precision-drilled filters for out-of-the-box flexibility: 17dB & 20dB filters which allow an unobstructed sound into the ear for a noise-reducing yet full-spectrum sound experience - and a 26dB filter for Max protection.

MOTO PRO features multi-layered acoustic filters for a more precise, full spectrum sound. These layers grab the sound signature and then replicate it at a lower volume, so you hear the full spectrum of crisp, clear sound at a safe volume. When selecting PRO you will have the option to choose the specific high-fidelity filter reduction level that’s right for you: 24dB Max, great for longer rides on the highway, and 20dB High, perfect for shorter rides.

If you require 27dB Ultra-Max protection for your MOTO PRO, we offer MOTO PRO Filter Sets in our Accessories, as well as a dedicated 27dB earplug edition called Adventure PRO.

Excellent upgrade

I have been using the Moto plugs for several years, and the Moto Pro are a great upgrade. They fit well, don't causing any ear ache after long rides, and filter out the noise I don't want to hear whilst still letting me hear my engine and intercom.

Moto Pro Max

Ordered these thinking they would be better than the standard ones. They aren’t. They amplify the wind noise and totally drown out the engine noise. Would not recommend. Stick with the standard ones.

Good fit. Excellent quality

I have had the standard moto for the last 4 years. But they started to fall apart so it was time for a new set.
I decided to upgrade to the pro.
After doing 500 miles they are certainly more comfortable and easier to remove than the standard moto Due to the shape you can only fit in 2 directions.
Using Comms at motorway speed is fine I can still hear clearly but lowering the levels of wind noise to a more acceptable level.
Yes foams cancel more out but that's not what these are designed to do. These give a better feeling enable me to still feel connected to the bike. Foams have always taken the feeling away at road speeds leaving me numb.
I still use foam for track days due to not requiring comms and the higher revs give more feel.
Thanks earpeace.

The only plugs that stay in!

Tried several others and these large size plugs are the only ones that fit my ears! The max 24db filters are perfect for an aftermarket exhaust too.
